Job Description
Position: REGISTERED MANAGER – CHILDREN’S HOME – LD & AUTISM
Location: NELSON, LANCASHIRE
Salary: C£45K PER ANNUM – NEGOTIABLE DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE
Hours: FULL TIME PERMANENT
Coben Healthcare are delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a new 2 bedded Children’s Home for a growing organisation in Nelson, Lancashire
For this LD & Autism Children’s Registered Manager you will be launching and overseeing the day to day running and operations of a 2 bedded residential home, ensuring the delivery of high quality care.
Job Requirements:
· Provide strong leadership, direction and guidance to a dedicated care team, promoting a positive and inclusive working culture
· Recruiting & managing the residential staff team, including Deputies, Team Leaders and Support Workers
· Develop and implement care plans, tailoring them to meet individual needs and preferences
· Ensure compliance with Company, Children’s Homes Regulations & OFSTED, standards & policies
· Developing effective relationships with key stakeholders including Local Authorities and Care Quality Groups
· Maintain accurate records and documentation, including individual care plans, risk assessments and incident reports
· Coordinate holistic support for the children and young people and promote an environment of continuous improvement to enhance the quality of care provided
Skills / Qualifications:
2+ years experience of managing a Children’s Home / Service
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management or Children’s Residential Care
Sound knowledge of OFSTED legislation, regulations and best practices in children’s residential care services
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and external stakeholders.
Dedicated and inspiring, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop staff
Committed to company values including purpose, accountability, empathy, community and excellence.
Benefits:
