About the Role
As Clinical Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind clinical excellence in the home. Working closely with the Home Manager and a dedicated team of nurses and carers, you’ll ensure the highest standards of clinical care and governance are consistently delivered. Your role will combine hands-on clinical leadership with strategic oversight, ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred care that meets regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement robust clinical governance policies and procedures in line with NMC guidelines and NICE standards.
Monitor and review clinical practices, identifying areas for improvement and driving change.
Act as a role model for best practice, providing guidance and support to nurses and carers.
Deliver coaching and training on key clinical areas, including medication administration, wound care, and health assessments.
Ensure care plans are accurate, up-to-date, and reflective of residents’ needs.
Maintain meticulous records to meet regulatory requirements and support audits.
Work closely with the Home Manager and wider management team to foster a positive, supportive work environment.
Promote staff engagement, learning, and development through supervisions and team meetings.

About You
NMC Registered Nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to person-centred care.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
Confident communicator with solid IT skills for maintaining electronic records.
