Domiciliary Care Branch Manager
Location: Sudbury
Reports to: Operations Manager / Regional Operations Director
Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Domiciliary Care Branch Manager for one of our key clients to lead the launch and development of a new home care service. This key role involves overseeing the delivery of person-centred care to individuals who wish to remain in their own homes while receiving support with daily living activities.
You will be responsible for managing care plans, supervising staff, and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Your leadership will help promote independence, enhance quality of life, and support positive health outcomes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and support branch staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
Oversee daily operations including staff scheduling, client onboarding, care planning, and service coordination.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards, implement quality assurance measures, and manage risk effectively.
Build strong relationships with clients, families, and the local community; address concerns, conduct assessments, and promote services.
Monitor branch performance, manage budgets, track KPIs, and identify opportunities for service growth.
Skills and Attributes
Proven management experience within a domiciliary care setting.
Strong business acumen with a passion for service development and growth.
In-depth understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
Effective leadership and communication skills.
Full UK driving license.
Education and Qualifications
Minimum NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
