Home Manager – Nursing & Residential Care
Location: Cheshire
Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits + Performance Bonus
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Coben Healthcare is proud to partner with a highly respected care provider in the search for an experienced and passionate Home Manager to lead a prestigious Grade II listed Edwardian care home. This beautiful home offers nursing and residential care for up to 42 residents and currently holds a ‘GOOD’ CQC rating.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader with a proven track record in delivering exceptional care standards and driving operational success.

About the Role
As Home Manager, you will have full autonomy to lead the home towards an Outstanding CQC rating, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. You will manage budgets, maintain full occupancy, and inspire a culture of kindness and excellence among your team.
You’ll be supported by a strong leadership structure, including an in-house Deputy Manager, Administrator, Hospitality, Activities, and Housekeeping teams, as well as regional support in marketing, training, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide strong leadership and direction to the staff team.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain exceptional care standards.
Manage budgets effectively and achieve financial targets.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to maintain full occupancy.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders.

About You

Previous experience managing a nursing home.
Strong knowledge of CQC standards with a track record of achieving high ratings.
NMC Registered Nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
Commercially astute with excellent leadership and communication skills.
