Job Title: Regional Service Quality Manager (Care Homes)
Location: Healthcare HQ
Salary: £55,000 per year + Monthly car allowance
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Coben Healthcare is representing a leading care home group in the recruitment of a Service Quality Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining high-quality care services across the care home group. Working closely with the operations team, care home managers, and staff, you will promote a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and resident satisfaction. Your role will involve monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing service quality standards in line with regulatory requirements and company policies. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to care home managers to ensure compliance and the delivery of exceptional care. Supervisions will also be an integral part of your job responsibilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Service Quality Management
Develop and implement strategies to promote and enhance service quality across all care homes within the group.
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to monitor compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and best practices.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to address any gaps or deficiencies in service quality.
Collaborate with care home managers to ensure the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and adherence to care plans.
Training and Development
Provide training and support to care home managers and staff on service quality standards, policies, and procedures.
Conduct training needs assessments and develop training programs to address skill gaps and promote continuous learning.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and improve service quality.
Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and excellence within the care home group.
Resident and Family Satisfaction
Monitor and evaluate resident and family satisfaction levels through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and regular communication.
Implement strategies to improve resident experiences, address concerns, and promote a person-centered approach to care.
Champion a resident-focused culture that emphasizes dignity, respect, and personalized care.
Regulatory Compliance
Stay abreast of relevant regulatory requirements, standards, and guidelines applicable to the care home industry.
Ensure that care homes within the group are compliant with all regulatory obligations and requirements.
Assist care home managers in preparing for inspections and regulatory audits, providing guidance and support as needed.
Investigate incidents, complaints, or breaches of compliance, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in a similar role within the healthcare or care home industry.
Sound knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, including CQC standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
