Job Description
Role: Registered Manager
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Salary: £28k – £32k (depended on experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week
About the Role:
This service in Ipswich offers less than 25 one-bedroom apartments for over 60’s who seek independent living with additional care support when needed.
Responsibilities:
– Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure care quality meets CQC standards.
– Provide out-of-hours support for Older People Services.
– Develop and manage personalized care plans.
– Lead staff recruitment, management, and development.
– Market the service to maintain occupancy and liaise with landlords and local councils.
Skills & Attributes:
– Experience in care management, particularly with older people.
– Strong communication and IT skills.
– Knowledge of conditions affecting older adults, such as Elderly and Dementia.
– Ability to manage budgets, maintain records, and ensure safety.
