Job Description

Our client offers short, medium and long term residential placements to young people between the ages of 8 – 18, who have been placed in our care as a result of family / foster care breakdown, emotional / behavioral difficulties or other such significant interruptions in their lives.

Registered Manager Role purpose

The Dual Homes Manager will have ultimate responsibility for the smooth running of 2 homes and ensure the provision of high-quality care for our young people in accordance with the Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, Ofsted, and all other statutory and regulatory requirements. The key purpose of this role is to ensure and promote the
well-being and safeguarding of our young people. The Homes Manager will also be responsible for the development and supervision of their team(s) and encourage professional progression where applicable.

Skills and Qualifications Required

• Must complete and be successful in the registration process with Ofsted.
• Achieved (or working towards) L5 Leadership & Management or transferable qualification.
• Two years previous experience in a supervisory role
• Strong Leadership skills
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to Engage, Motivate and Inspire
• Resilience
• Flexibility
• Committed to improving the lives of young people.
• Cognisant of both professional and personal boundaries and maintaining a professional working relationship when engaging with senior managers, staff and most importantly the young people in our care,
