Residential Care Worker
Location: Handsworth, Birmingham
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per year (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Shift Work (including Sleep-In Shifts)
About the Role
We are looking for a caring and dedicated Residential Care Worker to join our team in a EBD residential home based in Handsworth , Birmingham.
In this role, you will support adults with learning disabilities to live independently, providing personal care and promoting dignity, choice, and wellbeing. You’ll work on a shift rota, which includes sleep-in duties, to ensure high-quality care is provided at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and emotional support to residents.
Support daily living tasks such as meals, cleaning, and activities.
Encourage and enable residents to take part in social and community activities.
Follow care plans and maintain accurate records.
Work as part of a supportive, professional care team.
About You:
Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
Able to work flexibly, including weekends and sleep-ins.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
