Registered Nurse – Learning Disabilities (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
Location: Great Yarmouth

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll be at the heart of delivering exceptional care for residents with learning disabilities and complex needs. You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring every individual receives tailored support that promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
Accurately assess residents’ physical, mental, and social needs.
Develop and maintain personalised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Administer medication and treatments safely in line with NMC guidelines and organisational policy.
Monitor health conditions and respond promptly to changes, escalating concerns to GPs or specialists as needed.
Ensure all care practices comply with CQC standards, NMC Code of Conduct, and safeguarding regulations.
Maintain meticulous records and documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
Act as a mentor for new staff and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Contribute to staff training, supervisions, and team meetings to promote best practice.
Build strong, empathetic relationships with residents and their families.
Support residents in daily activities, encouraging independence and participation in meaningful routines.
Assist in end-of-life care and provide emotional support where needed.
Participate in handovers, ensuring clear communication across shifts.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and environment.
Uphold confidentiality and represent the home professionally at all times.

About You
NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with a valid PIN.
Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities or complex needs.
Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work flexibly across day, night, and weekend shifts.
Compassionate, patient, and committed to person-centred care.
Full UK driving licence preferred (but not essential).
