Key requirements for the role

We require for 1 Senior Residential Care Practitioner to work in a therapeutic (EBD) Derby children’s residential home. 
The candidate is to have experience and knowledge in childrens residential or have strong transferable skills, both of which must have a minimum of 2 years of managing a team. 
The qualifications we seek is to hold or working towards a level 3 children’s residential/children’s workforce or Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (Residential). 
It is essential for the candidate to have a full UK driving licence, as the role requires driving the young person to appointments, education, social events and contacts. T
The salary we offer for the senior position starts at £37,158.58 with an increase upon a successful 6 month probation. 
Hours of work are at 56.5 hours per week inclusive of sleeps (08:00-23:00 plus sleep and half an hour handover the next day 08:00-08:30).  Shifts are based on a 3-week rolling rota working alongside their co worker, averaging at 10 shifts per month, equates to 244.5 hours per month.
