Job Description

Role: Unit Manager (Non Nurse)
Location: Watton, Norfolk
Hours: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £32,000 per/annum

About the role
As a Unit Manager, you will assist the Home Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the home. You will be part of a strong management team, working closely with our nurses and carers to provide a consistent service delivery that meets the needs of our residents. Your focus will be on making sure we have the best care provisions for our residents and you will actively contribute to care delivery.

Reports to: Home Manager

Skills and attributes
• Proven experience as a Unit Manager, or a similar leadership role in the care sector.
• A good working knowledge, with a proven record of CQC standards and can work towards achieving Outstanding.
• Good communication skills and can maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, internal as well as external professionals, families and visitors.
• Strong team player with good coaching and mentoring skills
• Good care skills, with a focus on person-centred care
• Enthusiasm and passion for developing high level of person-centred care.
• Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service.

Education and qualification
• You will have, or be working towards, NVQ3 in Health & Social Care.
